Children & Minor Safety Addendum

Refy9 Innovations Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office in India [Ahmedabad] (hereinafter referred to as 'Refy9', 'Company', 'we', 'us' or 'our').

"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual who accesses, downloads, registers on, or uses the Refy9 mobile application, website, or any related services offered by the Company, whether as a registered or unregistered user.

"Services" means the mobile application, website, Tech powered styling assistance, wardrobe management features, recommendations, and any other products or services offered by Refy9 from time to time.

1. Purpose of This Addendum

This Children & Minor Safety Addendum explains how Refy9 approaches:

age eligibility,
protection of minors,
handling of minor-related data,
reporting and enforcement involving minors.

This Addendum supplements the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Community Standards, and Safety Charter.

2. Age Eligibility

Refy9 is not intended for children under the age of 13.

Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Users between 13 and 18 years are considered minors.

We may restrict or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Use by Minors (13–18)

Minors may use Refy9 only:

for personal, non-commercial purposes,
with parental or guardian guidance,
subject to stricter safety and moderation standards.

Certain features may be limited or unavailable for minors.

4. Data Protection for Minors

When processing personal data relating to minors, Refy9 applies additional safeguards, including:

reduced visibility defaults,
stricter moderation thresholds,
limited exposure to community interactions,
heightened review of reports involving minors.

If we become aware that data of a child under 13 has been collected unlawfully, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

5. Content and Interaction Restrictions

The following are strictly prohibited and enforced with zero tolerance:

sexual or suggestive content involving minors,
exploitation, grooming, or inappropriate interactions,
sharing images of minors without consent,
attempts to solicit personal information from minors.

Violations may result in immediate account removal and escalation to authorities where legally required.

6. Reporting Concerns Involving Minors

Reports involving minors are prioritized.

Users are encouraged to report:

unsafe interactions,
inappropriate content,
suspected exploitation,
privacy violations involving minors.

Reports can be made through in-app tools or by emailing info@refy9.com.

7. Parental and Guardian Role

Parents or guardians are responsible for:

supervising minor use of the platform,
guiding safe and appropriate behavior,
assisting minors in reporting concerns.

Refy9 does not provide parental monitoring tools or real-time supervision.

8. Enforcement and Legal Obligations

Refy9 may:

restrict features,
suspend or terminate accounts,
preserve or share information,
where required to protect minors or comply with applicable law.

9. No Assumption of Supervision

Refy9 does not:

monitor all interactions involving minors,
guarantee prevention of harm,
replace parental or guardian supervision.

Users and guardians must exercise judgment and caution.

10. Updates to This Addendum

This Addendum may be updated as laws, regulations, or platform features evolve. Continued use of Refy9 constitutes acceptance.
